A New Year's Hiatus

OK, here's the deal:

I'm not giving up on my life list, but I am giving it a break. My experiment to do something new every day has brought amazing changes in my life - but I find myself needing to really push in a couple areas for a while. Instead of being fun, the list is starting to feel like a bit of a distraction from other goals that are important to me.

If I were quitting just so I could lounge in bed eating bon bons, I might worry, but that's not the case (and what ARE bon bons anyway??)

So I plan to be back at a later date... not really so much for the blog but for ME. It'd be fun to clock a full year... who says I can't break it up a bit?

In the meantime, onward forward!

Hello :) I found your blog a couple weeks ago and enjoyed reading it. I've decided to give it a try myself. You can check out my blog at oceana27.blogspot.com
By the way bon bons I think are little chocolate covered ice cream balls :)

Also, way to go on finishing gone with the wind! It's one of my favorite books. I've recommended it to many, but they are always afraid of how long it is! I also read Scarlett (by a different author of course) and my husband just bought me "Rhett Butler's People" a book from Rhett's point of view for X-mas. It's only half the amount of pages of GWTW.

I plan to get your book next :)

Happy New Year!

Well... I just wrote you a comment and then deleted it. I swear... ugh. Anyway, it's been a pleasure reading you're life list. 283 days... I give you props. You went long and strong. Now that you're on hiatus, you can take care of whatever goals that you wish to accomplish without the burden of doing something scary or spectacular or dull (but new) everyday. So when (or if) you decide to comeback to this Life List... do it with passion. That last sentence was pretty cheesy/ lame. Haha later

Hi Jill….

So its been six months of blog freedom for you!

Do you have any advice for those of us still avidly blogging? Should we quit and “get a life”? Or is Blogging still a temptation for you…..

Dear Jill,
I keep checking back for an update. How the heck are things, anyway? We want to know. Just a short note, please? I know your life hasn't gotten dull, just because you are not writing the
"Life List Blog" everyday.

Dear Jill,
I chose your novel for our family book club read this month! Our club has doubled in size in three months. One of the "assignments" for everyone attending is to create a "life list". I find that as people progress through your novel, that the lists are becoming more interesting( including my own). Our official meeting will take place on July 26th. I will "fill you in"on the many interesting talks that we are sure to have. As an aspiring writer, I knew you'd love to know...Susan
