I think it's because I'm now living in a cottage, all of a sudden I have this mad urge to play games (like when we used to when we stayed at the lake when I was a kid). Today, my cousin came over, and while we hung out on my patio, instead of just gabbing, we had a Yatzee marathon. Later, I talked my son into a game of Careers (my childhood favorite) and a few rounds of Boggle. I had so much fun, I established a games bin in the living room - I just hope my newfound enthusiasm for gaming doesn't scare off all my prospective guests.
