I recently heard that the Wonder company declared bankruptcy. Today, feeling nostalgic (and to the delight of my son, who normally only gets whole grain) I bought a loaf of white Wonder bread.
When I got home, I ate a piece in the way Wonder bread should be eaten: crusts pulled off and the soft bready part wadded up into a ball until it forms a dough.
I have to say, it's still good!
