OK, so it's nothing new, but it WAS impromptu! I hadn't planned anything for Fourth of July. This afternoon, I happened to be chatting with a friend who mentioned she could see fireworks from her yard. I invited myself over - yes, I am that shameless - and celebrated a holiday I'd had every intention of ignoring.

i didn't have anything planned either, especially in the way of celebrating but my boyfriend wanted to set off fireworks and i have to admit it was pretty fun. even if they were small ones. more pleasurable in some ways than watching the more spectacular displays.
