I was invited to a friend's for dinner tonight, and I planned to bring one of my favorite salads: mixed greens, goat cheese, sweetened almonds, dried cherries and a vinegarette dressing.
While I was shopping for ingredients, I noticed a pack of "edible flowers" in the produce section.
I've never eaten flowers before, so I bought them to add to the salad.
They didn't add much in the line of taste, but they sure made it prettier!
