Life List Day 115 - Go from No Pudge to No Hunger

Today I decided to try No Pudge Fudge Brownie Mix - a fat-free mix that I heard is supposed to be pretty good.

As I mixed the brownies, I noticed on the box in tiny writing at the bottom:

"The next time you sit down at your computer, visit thehungersite.com"

Out of curiosity, I went. It's a site that promises to donate money to feed the hungry if you simply click on a button. You can visit it daily, and every time you do, they donate cash to feed the hungry.

Oh what a sad world we live in that my first thought was: It's a hoax.

So I went to urbanlegends.about.com
Apparently it's the real deal. Advertisers donate 3 cents per click, according to the myth-busting site, which said, "All the available evidence indicates that the Hunger Site, founded by private citizen John Breen as a personal contribution to improving the plight of the world's poor, is completely legitimate and really works."

So now thehungersite.com is bookmarked so I can fight hunger daily.

Oh, and the brownies are done, so I can fight a bit of hunger right now!
