Life List Day 133 - Dance at the Park

I often go with friends to Polliwog Park on Sunday evenings in the summer, where they have free concerts. We drink wine, eat snacks, and let the kids run wild while we listen to the band.

Today, I grabbed a couple friends and went out onto the dance area in front of the band. In all the years I've been going (and I believe it's 10 now), I've never danced.

But I couldn't help myself.

They were playing Brick House.

As an aging boomer, I find myself in that situation whenever I hear Bob Seger's Old Time Rock 'n' Roll. However, I have noticed that song seems to affect people of all ages in a similar way.

Rock on!

Hello Jill!
Oh Lord...10 years and no dancing?! I never thought that could be possible...
Me, I dance wherever there's music :)!

I'm glad you had fun though, girl!
Nietzsche said something like: through playing music and dancing to it, mankind displays its superiority!

Cheers!
